House building in frontier villages will be in the focus of attention


On October 9, Prime Minister of Artsakh Republic visited the frontier communities Mataghis and Talish and had meetings with the local inhabitants.
The heads of the communities presented briefly the details concerning the socio-economic situation of the villages referring to the work and existing problems of the recent period. The Prime Minister was interested in the demography and infrastructural situation of the villages and was glad with the noticeable growth in the mentioned communities.
By the assignment of the president of the republic the water-line of Mataghis will be put into operation and as for the construction of Talish inner water supply communication, it will be finished next year. House constructing in these two frontier villages will be in the focus of attention; we shall assist the inhabitants both supplying with construction materials and constructing new houses. We shall also discuss issues concerning the construction of schools and kindergartens and find corresponding solutions,- emphasized the Prime Minister.
Referring to the questions of the agricultural work to be carried out, the chief of the executive said that taking into consideration the strategic importance of Mataghis and Talish, the Government implements big projects. The Prime Minister also underlined,-“We are aimed to encourage the foundation and development of the cooperative economy of these villages and you can already see the preliminary results. Hundreds of hectares of the fields are already irrigated, we have contributed new technologies and here we have the annual results. We expect trust from you towards this new model and also a control upon the work that is being realized”.
The minister of agriculture Aram Mkhoyan, the executive director of the “Village and agriculture support fund” Ashot Bakhshiyan, the head of Martakert regional administration and other officials accompanied the Prime Minister during the visit.
