Arayik Harutyunyan had a working consultation on fruits and berries purveyance

On August 29, Prime Minister of Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan held a working consultation for the discussion of the issues referring the forest fruits and berries purveyance.
The Prime Minister first of all expressed his dissatisfaction to the district administration heads for not properly implementing the organizational works. “We have previously announced that we have got corresponding agreements with the tinned food factories about purveying the fruits and vegetables being cultivated in the republic. The Government came up to be initiative in that process so that the harvest collected in time can be sent to the factories without any quantitative restriction. But the process is being carried out quite slowly”,-said the Prime Minister and encouraged those present to work more actively with the population.
According to Prime Minister, starting from this year by the initiative of the Government rosehips, blackberries, cornels, pears, apples and other fruits and berries with unlimited volumes and with a comparatively high price, will be sent to the purveying companies and the transportation from the regions to the companies is going to be done by state means.
According to the Executive Head schoolchildren having a corresponding age will be also included in the process of rosehip collection works. “The aim of including schoolchildren in these works is not collecting berries but it is more directed to teaching them to earn money since their school age. And for gathering crops a higher price will be paid by the Government means”,-said A. Harutyunyan and added that the given chance must be used especially taking into consideration that the majority of the berries mentioned ripens in autumn.
