President Arayik Harutyunyan paid a working visit to Shosh and Sarushen, communities in Askeran region, Karmir Shuka and Taghavard, communities in Martuni region

On June 1 President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan paid a working visit to Shosh and Sarushen, communities in Askeran region, Karmir Shuka and Taghavard, communities in Martuni region.
In Shosh, Sarushen and Taghavard communities, the head of state met with the residents, discussed the security, socio-economic challenges and problems in the post-war period, and the steps to be taken to overcome them. The head of state noted that in the near future the volume of construction works carried out in the communities will be increased, aimed at the elimination of post-war consequences and the restoration of infrastructure. According to Arayik Harutyunyan, the Government of the Republic of Artsakh plans to asphalt Karmir Shuka-Taghavard road, as well as to improve Shosh-Sarushen intra-community roads, this year.
Touching upon the development of the communities and the activation of their economic life, Arayik Harutyunyan stressed that steps will be taken to ensure the employment of the residents, in the near future.
A number of issues on the harvest were also discussed during the visit. The President gave instructions to the stakeholders in order to organize and ensure the forthcoming harvesting work without wasting time.
In Karmir Shuka community, Arayik Harutyunyan visited the construction site of a new residential district, where he got acquainted with the process of installing fast-assembling houses.
The President was accompanied by Hayk Khanumyan, minister of territorial administration and infrastructure, Armen Ghahramanyan, head of Askeran administration and Edik Avanesyan, head of the Martuni administration.
