On July 14 Karen Shahramanyan, Chief of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President, visited the Water Committee of the Republic of Artsakh and introduced Georgi Hayriyan, newly appointed head of the structure to the staff.
Wishing success and productive work to Georgy Hayriyan, Karen Shahramanyan noted that this decision of the President of the Republic of Artsakh is conditioned by his great work experience, knowledge and human qualities in the field of water resources management.
The Chief of Office of the President of the Republic of Artsakh also spoke about the problems faced by the sector in the post-war period, emphasizing that the construction of new potable water systems and effective management of irrigated water resources for agricultural and household needs will be the priorities of the newly established structure. In this context, Karen Shahramanyan instructed the Chairman of the Water Committee of the Republic of Artsakh to complete the organizational work and the inventory of the existing water systems as soon as possible and to start the implementation of the programs for the construction of new systems.
