Artak Beglaryan stressed the Government’s full readiness to cooperate with all organizations to solve the problems of the displaced and refugees.
"You are aware of the post-war programs that have made it possible to ensure some social stability for the displaced. In this context, we are launching a new program for housing compensation, which will help meet the housing needs of the displaced. This project has already been put up for public discussion. In the meantime, we continue to provide primary and secondary market apartments to the beneficiary groups, and hundreds of new ones will be commissioned in the coming months. I would also like to inform you that by the instruction of the President of the Republic, the term of providing idle payments to the employees of the institutions of the occupied territories operating with state funding is extended until 2022. By the end of the year, we will launch additional employment programs to avoid social upheaval. In addition, we are finalizing the draft law on IDP’s (Internally Displaced Persons), after the adoption of which it will be possible to start the process of granting legal status,” noted Artak Beglaryan in his speech.
