An extended working consultation dedicated to the socio-economic issues of the communities was held at the President's office

On August 15, President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan convened an extended working consultation dedicated to the socio-economic issues of the communities within the framework of discussions of the medium-term expenditure plan.
Heads of regional administrations delivered reports on the programs under implementation and existing problems, while heads of the urban communities presented the issues related to the capital Stepanakert and regional centers.
Issues related to improvement and asphalting of inter-community and intra-city streets, solving the problem of drinking and irrigation water, as well as sanitary cleaning, night lighting and other infrastructure improvements were on the discussion agenda.
The Head of the State noted that the government plans to allocate significant funds for the implementation of these programs, however, considering the large volume of needs, all the issues raised will be solved step by step according to priority. The President emphasized that stimulating mechanisms should be envisaged for increasing the communities' own incomes and raising the efficiency of cooperation between the Government and the communities.
The main issues discussed with heads of occupied regions and urban communities present at the meeting were related to the process of housing construction and financial assistance in lieu of the lost property. President Harutyunyan assured that the presented issues remain among the Government's priorities, and the task of the authorities is to implement the planned programs as soon as possible.
A number of instructions were given by President Harutyunyan regarding the discussed issues.
During the meeting, a number of issues related to civil defense were also discussed in a closed procedure.
Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Hayk Khanumyan, Minister of Finance and Economy Vahram Baghdasaryan and other officials were present at the meeting.
